UpRisingUp Lab provides practical and theoretical tools to engage in an active dialogue with artistic representation. During the workshops, we weave the humanities with the art of movement to refine the relationship between feeling, acting, and thinking.

Through games, practices, improvisations, and discussions, we practice how to listen, look, receive, and reciprocate. To dissolve the boundaries between artist and audience, and simply to get closer.

The tools offered by the Axis Syllabus will support the work, offering a look at the body and its role in manifesting and reworking emotions, feelings, and actions. We will share somatic practices to stimulate proprioception and interoception, play individual and collective improvisation games, and dialogue with the space that we create together.
